\nMost of the 500 mile Colorado Trail, which goes from Denver to \u00a0Durango, is not accessible. \u00a0However, there are a few places where you can follow it for short distances, at least on foot.\u00a0 Here is their website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"WheelchairThe start of the Colorado Trail is at Waterton Canyon<\/a>, a wide\u00a0dirt road beside the South Platte River. \u00a0Here is another link<\/a>, and still\u00a0another<\/a>. \u00a0 I believe the first 6 miles are wheelchair accessible and there is an accessible fishing pier about a mile and a half from the parking lot. \u00a0 \u00a0This is a road, not a trail, and you will meet a lot of bicyclists and runners, occasional cars and rattlesnakes. \u00a0 It can be very hot in the sun.<\/p>\n
