Roosevelt National Forest<\/strong>

\nRed Feather Lakes<\/strong>
\n<\/a>Lady Moon Trail is 2.6 miles between the two trailheads, but you may just want to hike a mile or mile and a half from the Elkhorn Creek Trailhead.\u00a0 \u00a0Half a mile from the Lady Moon trailhead and about 1.5 miles from the Elkhorn Creek trailhead the trail takes an elevation gain which may be more strenuous than you want.\u00a0 Here is a description<\/a>.
\n<\/a>Mt. Margaret Trail 3.8 miles downhill! to the summit\u00a0 You may want to just hike the first 1.5 miles to avoid an uphill return.\u00a0\u00a0Most of this trail is on an old roadbed .\u00a0 \u00a0Forest Service description.<\/a>\u00a0 Location Map<\/a>\u00a0 Described on AllTrails\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0and on HikingProject.<\/a>
\nYou can gain access to the easy-sounding Columbine Trail Complex from the Mt. Margaret trail, but that is probably a longer hike than you want to take.\u00a0 These trails are also mostly old roads.

\nLily Mountain<\/strong>
