Margaret Trail 3.8 miles downhill! to the summit\u00a0 You may want to just hike the first 1.5 miles to avoid an uphill return.\u00a0\u00a0Most of this trail is on an old roadbed .\u00a0 \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/recarea\/arp\/recreation\/recarea?recid=36831\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forest Service description.<\/a>\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pwv.org\/trails\/redfeather-lakes\/67-mt-margaret-trail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Location Map<\/a>\u00a0 Described on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alltrails.com\/trail\/us\/colorado\/mount-margaret\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AllTrails\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0and on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hikingproject.com\/trail\/7005990\/mt-margaret\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HikingProject.<\/a><br \/>\nYou can gain access to the easy-sounding Columbine Trail Complex from the Mt.
